Summary: "Mint" carries several rolled up blankets and futons into a room, where a girl with short purple hair (who looks very much like her- maybe they're related?) is staring out the window. They're both quietly excited for something, which Mint points out they won't be able to see from in the house, so why don't they go outside? But it's reeeally cold, so let's warm up first. She then prepares them both some ginger tea (with a bit of brandy) and they chat idly while they drink. Mint mentions someone named "Makki-chan", who was also invited but declined to come.
Eventually they head outside where they bundle up together under the blankets, huddling close to each other around a hot water bottle and gazing up at the sky. After some time of waiting, the show finally begins- a meteor shower, the first one either of them has seen. It's thrilling and beautiful, as the number of lights gradually increases until it's an endless, silent storm of light raining down around them. They lay back on the cold ground for hours and watch them fall, enchanted, until the sun finally rises.
